About Us > The Ironwood Charitable Foundation

The Ironwood Charitable Foundation (ICF) was created as a way for the company to make a considerable difference in our local community.

The ICF mission is to invest in the future of the community in which we serve by supporting programs that enhance the lives of children and young adults. These programs share our values by striving to improve circumstances that will ultimately improve lives and by demonstrating what is possible.

ICF is supported by Ironwood Insurance Services, which donates 1% of every dollar of gross income. We provide support not only financially, but also through volunteer work for the organizations. All operating expenses associated with ICF are borne by Ironwood Insurance Services and its employees. We believe that by helping kids today who are less fortunate than most, we will have a positive impact on the generations of tomorrow.

Charities we support include:

Book: Same Kind of Different as Me Courage To Care
Trinity Community Ministries appreciates the outpouring of support for this incredible event - Courage to Care, featuring Ron Hall and Denver Moore, co-authors of the New York Times bestseller Same Kind of Different as Me. Their extraordinary tale of friendship has touched thousands of lives and raised awareness of homelessness across the country. Trinity Community Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit, faith-based organization that has faithfully served Atlanta’s hungry, homeless and addicted since 1988, connecting them to collaborative outreach partners and recovery programs. The goal is to educate more than 2,000 Atlantans at a luncheon on October 28, igniting a spirit of compassion that will further motivate and enable our great city to help our neighbors, who after all aren’t much different than you and me. You can help us make a difference by having the courage to care.
