Founded in May 2007 by industry veteran Will Underwood, Ironwood is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
We are a retail insurance broker committed to providing our clients with the best insurance products and services available, delivered with unparalleled customer service. We are creative problem solvers with a "can't is not a word" mentality, and offer solutions to complex risk management problems for our customers worldwide.
We are a privately held company with long term objectives, and our stock is widely held by our associates.
We are committed to attracting and retaining GREAT people through a strong culture of teamwork, respect and integrity, combined with results-based compensation and the ability to earn partnership in the firm.
We will emphasize a "Great Quality of Life/Great Quality of Service" through the use of technology. All Ironwood associates are equipped with a laptop, cellular phone and wireless e-mail technology in order to have more freedom and to respond to customer requests on a 24/7 basis.
