Matt Lovein brings more than 14 years of insurance and finance experience to Ironwood. He has been responsible for producing and servicing complex commercial middle market property/casualty accounts in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Restaurant/Hospitality, Distribution and Technology. Matt's experience includes insurance brokerage and service for accounts with global property, global casualty, loss sensitive casualty, environmental liability, professional liability, products liability and catastrophic property exposures. Matt is also experienced in solving client risk management issues related to mergers & acquisitions and leveraged buyouts.

Matt joined Palmer & Cay of Atlanta in June 2003 as a producer in the property/casualty practice. He worked closely with the firm's private equity practice, working on more than 30 deals performing diligence, placement and post-close account service. Following Wachovia's 2005 acquisition of Palmer & Cay, Matt remained with Wachovia Insurance Services until August 2007 when he joined Ironwood Insurance Services. Matt was also with national property/casualty brokerage Hobbs Group, where he was an account manager for Fortune 1000 global property accounts.
